HONOR 600 and HONOR 600 Pro Launched in the Philippines
HONOR Philippines has officially launched the new HONOR 600 Series in the country, introducing the HONOR 600 and HONOR 600 Pro. The latest lineup pushes deeper into the premium mid-range and flagship-level categories, focusing on AI-powered imaging, portrait photography, premium design, and large batteries packed into slim devices. With the campaign tagline “Anything Is Possible,” the HONOR 600 Series also puts strong attention on AI creativity tools, especially its updated AI Image to Video 2.0 feature aimed at content creators and social media users. We recently got our hands on the HONOR 600 for an early first impression and review experience, and it’s clear that HONOR wants this series to stand out through design, AI features, and camera performance.AI Features Take Center StageOne of the biggest highlights of the HONOR 600 Series is its focus on AI-powered imaging and editing tools. Both phones are equipped with a 200MP Ultra-clear AI main camera designed for portrait photography, low-light shots, and content creation.HONOR is also introducing the updated AI Image to Video 2.0 feature, which can transform still photos into short cinematic clips using AI-generated motion effects. Users can even combine multiple images and prompts to create more dynamic content.Aside from that, the series includes several AI-powered tools such as AI Photo Editing, AI Night Photography, Magic Color, Moving Photo Editing, AI Eraser, and portrait enhancement features. The new dedicated AI Button also gives quicker access to editing and creative tools directly from the phone.Premium Design with Slim BuildThe HONOR 600 Series also introduces what HONOR calls a “Precision-carved Unibody Design,” featuring a metal-forged unibody structure with curved edges and slim bezels.Despite carrying a large 7000mAh battery, the HONOR 600 remains slim at just 7.8mm thin and weighs around 190g. The overall in-hand feel is surprisingly comfortable considering the battery size. The Orange variant especially stands out with its bright metallic finish, while Golden White and Black offer more subtle options. Both devices also feature IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance ratings for enhanced durability.HONOR 600 and HONOR 600 ProThe standard HONOR 600 features a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2728 × 1264 resolution. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. For cameras, the phone uses a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide and macro camera, and a 50MP selfie camera. It also packs a 7000mAh battery with support for 80W HONOR SuperCharge and 27W reverse wired charging. Stereo speakers, Android 16, and MagicOS 10 are also part of the package.Meanwhile, the HONOR 600 Pro pushes further into flagship territory with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, 50W wireless charging, and Wi-Fi 7 support. It still retains the 200MP AI main camera and 7000mAh battery found on the standard model.HONOR 600 Series Philippine PriceThe HONOR 600 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at ₱25,999 during the pre-order period, while its regular SRP is ₱28,999. HONOR 600 First Look: What Stood Out — Design, 200MP Camera, and Big Battery
HONOR is back with its latest number series, introducing the HONOR 600 Series, which includes the HONOR 600 and the HONOR 600 Pro. This lineup targets the premium mid-range space, with a clear focus on AI-powered imaging, portrait photography, and a more premium design approach.Unboxing the HONOR 600, a few things stand out - the premium design, camera setup, new UI, and how it fits a large battery into a slim body.Design and Build: Slim, Clean, and More RefinedPicking it up for the first time, the HONOR 600 doesn’t feel like a smartphone carrying a 7000mAh battery. At around 190g and just 7.8mm thin, it stays comfortable in the hand and doesn’t feel bulky. The HONOR 600 Series leans into what HONOR calls an “N series Elevated” design, and you can actually see that direction here. The precision-carved unibody build, combined with its curved edges, gives it a more refined and polished look.HONOR is using a metal-forged unibody structure made through an integrated vacuum-forged aluminum process. On paper, that sounds technical, but in actual use, it translates to a phone that feels solid without adding extra weight.Durability is also part of the package. With IP68, IP69, and even IP69K ratings, the phone feels built to handle more than just everyday use. It’s the kind of device you won’t worry too much about when using it outdoors. The color options—Orange, Golden White, and Black—also add some personality. The Orange variant, in particular, is more eye-catching and even reminds me a bit of the color used on the Phone (1) Air, so it definitely stands out more than the others.Display: Sharp and BrightTurning the screen on for the first time, the HONOR 600 already looks sharp. The 6.5-inch AMOLED panel has a clean, crisp look, especially when going through setup and browsing the interface. One thing you’ll notice is how thin the bezels are. HONOR is going with ultra-slim black bezels at around 0.98mm, which helps give the phone a more immersive feel. Paired with its quad-curved, ultra-slim edge design, the display almost blends into the frame.Because of that, you’re getting a high screen-to-body ratio of around 96%, and it’s noticeable when watching videos or scrolling through content.Scrolling feels smooth right away thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate. Whether it’s navigating menus or switching between apps, everything feels fluid without that slight stutter you sometimes notice on slower panels.Brightness is also noticeable early on. Even near a window or under strong indoor lighting, the display stays clear and easy to read.Colors look vibrant but not overly pushed. Photos, UI elements, and videos all look balanced, which makes it comfortable to use for longer periods.Performance and UI: Clean Start, Smooth NavigationGoing through setup and the first few apps, the HONOR 600 is responsive, with smooth performance powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Installing apps, logging in, and switching between menus all remain quick and stable. The new MagicOS 10 (based on Android 16) also looks cleaner. The UI looks more refined compared to previous versions, with better spacing and a more polished overall look. Animations are smooth, and navigating through the system feels consistent. The quad-curved display also adds to that experience, making swipe gestures feel more natural along the edges. There’s also the AI Button, which gives quick access to AI features like image editing and content tools. At this stage, it feels more like something to explore later, but it’s there when you need it.Camera: Strong First Shots, Especially for PortraitsThe camera is one of the main highlights here, and it’s something you’ll likely try first. The 200MP main camera already shows good detail in quick shots, with sharp results and noticeable clarity even when zooming in slightly.Colors lean slightly vibrant, which works well for social media. Portrait shots also stand out, with generally clean subject separation and natural-looking background blur, though not perfect every time. The 50MP front camera is also a strong point, delivering sharp selfies with good skin tone handling, making it reliable for both photos and video calls. There are also AI features worth checking out, like the updated AI Image to Video 2.0, which turns a single photo into a short 3 to 8-second cinematic clip. It’s something you’ll probably want to explore more over time, especially if you’re into creating content.Battery: Big Capacity, Promising StartThe 7000mAh battery is one of the standout features of the HONOR 600. Even during setup and initial use, the battery doesn’t seem to drop quickly, which is a good sign early on. It’s still early to judge long-term performance, but the initial impression is promising, especially for heavier daily use.It supports 80W fast charging for quick top-ups, along with 27W reverse wired charging for added flexibility. Overall, it’s a clear highlight, though it still needs more time for a full evaluation.Small Details That Stand OutEven in the first few hours, things like the stereo speakers, fingerprint scanner, and thermals already stand out.First ImpressionThe HONOR 600 leaves a solid first impression. From the moment you unbox it, the focus is clear—design, camera, and battery. These are the areas you notice most in everyday use. There’s still more to test over time, but the starting experience is already promising. After a few hours of using it, it already feels like a phone you can rely on for daily use.-Subscribe to our social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter, and YouTube. to receive the latest news and updates.
