Google's approach includes enabling developer mode, confirming that the user is not being forced to disable security protections, a 24-hour waiting period, and biometric authentication or device PIN entry.Google has stated that this is a one-time process. Once the verification steps and waiting period are completed, the device will allow installation of unregistered apps for an indefinite period. Users will also have the option to enable sideloading privileges for seven-day intervals.The updated steps for sideloading appsGoogle continues to advance its developer identity verification program, scheduled to begin in September.
