It comes with a 200MP main camera, vivo’s Darkness Glow technology on the Northern Lights Purple variant, and a 7000mAh battery paired with 90W FlashCharge. It’s a different approach compared to most midrange releases this year. Instead of focusing heavily on performance numbers, vivo leans into features that are easier to appreciate in daily use, battery life, camera flexibility, and a design that stands out without being overdone.Slim Build with a Unique FinishThe V70 FE is slim, it is for a device with a 7000mAh battery. In daily use, performance is stable. Apps load quickly, multitasking is smooth, and common tasks like social media, streaming, and browsing run without issues. Gaming is fine for titles like Mobile Legends, though heavier games may need lower settings for better performance.Built for Long DaysBattery life is one of the strongest points of the V70 FE, With a 7000mAh battery, it can last a full day even with heavy use. Lighter usage can stretch it further. Charging is handled by 90W FlashCharge, with a full charge taking about an hour.vivo V70 FE Key SpecsOS: Android 16, OriginOS 6Display: 6.83-inch AMOLED, 2800 × 1260, up to 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1900 nits peak brightness, P3 color gamut, 449 PPIProcessor: MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo (4nm), Octa-core (4× 2.5GHz + 4× 2.0GHz)RAM and Storage: 8GB + 128GB (LPDDR5, UFS 3.1), supports up to 8GB Extended RAMRear Cameras: 200MP main (f/1.88, OIS) + 8MP ultra-wide (120°, f/2.2)Front Camera: 50MP (f/2.0, AF)Rear Video: 4K, 1080p, supports Slo-mo, Time-lapse, Dual-view video, Pro mode, Underwater photographyFront Video: 4K, 1080p, supports Dual-view video and Portrait videoConnectivity: Wi-Fi (2.4GHz & 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C (USB 2.0), Infrared blasterMobile Data: 2G / 3G / 4G LTE / 5G, Dual nano-SIM (5G + 5G dual standby)Navigation: GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NavICAudio: Standard audio playback (AAC, MP3, FLAC, etc.)Dimensions: 163.7 × 76.2 × 7.59 mm (Monsoon Blue) / 7.69 mm (Northern Lights Purple)Sensors: In-display fingerprint sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, E-compass, GyroscopeDurability: IP68 / IP69 dust and water resistanceBattery: 7000mAh (typical), 90W fast chargingColors: Monsoon Blue, Northern Lights PurpleWeight: 200g (Monsoon Blue), 202g (Northern Lights Purple)Pricing and AvailabilityThe vivo V70 FE is now open for pre-order in the Philippines from April 12 to April 24, 2026. TECNO Megabook K16S 13th Review
TECNO is rolling out the Megabook K16s 13th as a limited edition release which signals a more focused push into the laptop space. The brand built its reputation on affordable smartphones, so it is natural to question how it translates that experience into a productivity machine. With this release, TECNO aims to show it can deliver a reliable daily laptop for students and office professionals who need consistent performance for work and study. On paper, it already sounds promising. For Php 46,999, you get an Intel Core i9-13900HK inside a relatively slim and portable machine. That is a processor usually reserved for higher-end laptops, so expectations naturally go up. The real question now is simple. Does this laptop actually deliver the performance and experience that its specs suggest? Let us take a closer look.ProsHigh-End Processing PowerGreat PricingProductivity-Focused Large DisplayReliable Battery EnduranceVersatile ConnectivityConsLimited Display Color AccuracyNo Thunderbolt SupportStiff Trackpad MechanismOn the heavy sideDesign and Build QualityThe first thing that stands out is the build. Most laptops in this price range rely heavily on plastic, which can feel cheap and fragile. TECNO went in a different direction here. The TECNO Megabook K16s 13th uses a full metal chassis, and it immediately feels more solid than expected. The design is clean and minimal. It comes in a silver finish that gives off a familiar look, similar to what many users associate with premium ultrabooks. The TECNO logo sits neatly in the center and a "Megabook" branding on the front-side of the lid, which keeps the overall look simple and professional. It does not try too hard to stand out, and that works in its favor. In terms of size, the laptop weighs around 1.75 kilograms and measures about 17.5mm thick. For a 16-inch device, that is still manageable. But if you're used to using ultraportables, you could definitely feel the heft of the laptop. You have to have a standard 16-inch backpack to fit the device without much trouble. I also noticed that this computing machine has a larger footprint compared to smaller laptops. The hinge is well-tuned too. You can open it with one hand, and it lays flat at 180 degrees, which is useful for presentations or sharing your screen during meetings. Meanwhile, the bezels are actually thin with the top portion accommodates the camera and several sensors.Keyboard and TrackpadThe large chassis gives TECNO enough room to include a full keyboard with a number pad. That alone makes a big difference for productivity tasks like spreadsheets and data entry. The layout is mostly comfortable, though the arrow keys feel a bit cramped. Typing feels good overall. The keys have a soft and slightly bouncy response, which works well for long writing sessions. This set may not be the firmest keyboard out there, but it is easy to get used to.A nice design decision here is the power button placement. It sits outside the main keyboard area, so there is no risk of accidentally pressing it while typing. It also doubles as a fingerprint scanner, which makes logging in quick and convenient. The trackpad is spacious and smooth. Finger movement feels natural, and gestures work reliably. Palm rejection is solid too, so accidental touches are not an issue. The only downside is the physical click, which feels a bit stiff. Most users will likely rely on tap gestures instead.Ports and ConnectivityFor a productivity laptop, ports matter a lot, and TECNO does offer a decent selection - USB-C ports, USB-A ports, HDMI, Ethernet, a headphone jack, and even a microSD card slot. That already covers most basic needs without requiring a dongle. However, there are a few compromises here. The port layout feels a bit random, and plugging in the charger takes up one of the faster USB-C ports. More importantly, there is no Thunderbolt support, which feels like a missed opportunity considering the Core i9 processor. All ports are limited to 10Gbps speeds, so if you plan to use fast external storage, you will not get the full performance. The microSD slot is also less practical compared to a full-size SD card reader, especially for content creators.Display and Multimedia ExperienceThe laptop features a 16-inch IPS display with a 1920x1200 resolution. It uses a 16:10 aspect ratio, which gives you more vertical space compared to the usual 16:9 panels. This is especially helpful for writing, browsing, and working with documents. In daily use, the display is functional and easy on the eyes. The matte coating helps reduce glare, which makes it usable even in bright environments like cafes or offices with strong lighting. That said, this is not a display meant for intensive creative work. Color accuracy is limited, and the panel struggles to deliver vibrant tones and deep contrast. It is perfectly fine for productivity, streaming, and casual use, but not ideal for photo editing or color grading. The refresh rate is capped at 60Hz, which feels standard. It gets the job done though, but it will not feel as smooth if you are used to higher refresh rate screens. The audio setup includes quad speakers with DTS support. I'm quite surprised with how the volume registers, it can actually fill a small room. However, the sound lacks depth, especially in the bass. It works fine for video calls and casual media, but it is not something you would rely on for immersive listening. With that being said, I still enjoyed my time watching Netflix in this laptop. Casual browsing and productivity activities also suit well in this screen.Performance + BenchmarksPerformance is where the TECNO Megabook K16s 13th really tries to stand out. The Intel Core i9-13900HK is a powerful processor, and for everyday tasks, it shows. Opening multiple apps, switching between browser tabs, and running productivity tools all feel smooth and responsive. The laptop comes with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, which is enough for most users. Storage speeds are decent, though not the fastest available today. The drive is also split into two partitions, which might feel limiting for some users. In real-world use, the laptop handles office workloads with ease. Writing, editing, browsing, and even light creative work like photo editing in Lightroom feel smooth. Video editing is also manageable for basic projects, though performance drops when heavier effects are applied.Gaming is not the main focus here. The laptop uses integrated graphics, so performance is limited. You can still play games like Genshin Impact or Dota 2 on lower settings, but this is not a gaming machine. My favorite high-graphic card game, Legends of Runeterra runs well with this laptop. The TECNO Megabook K16S 13th runs on a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H processor with 14 cores and 20 threads. This laptop hit a single-core score of 1642 and a multi-core score of 8557 in Geekbench 6. Cinebench tests show 1975 points for multi-thread and 547 points for single-core performance. The Intel Iris Xe Graphics inside produced an OpenCL score of 14806 and a Vulkan score of 16152. These numbers provide a clear look at how this machine manages intensive workloads and daily productivity. Thermals are something to consider. Under heavy workloads, the system can get warm, and the fans become noticeable. The cooling system works, but it does limit how far the processor can push its performance. Using the Balanced power mode gives a more stable experience overall.SoftwareThe Megabook K16s 13th runs on Windows 11, which offers a familiar interface for most users. It works well for productivity, though it still has occasional quirks like minor slowdowns in system apps. TECNO includes its own PC Manager software, which handles updates and some additional features. The interface could be better organized, but it is functional. One standout feature is OneLeap. It allows seamless file sharing between TECNO devices, which can be very convenient if you are already using a TECNO smartphone or tablet. It helps create a more connected ecosystem without needing extra apps.Battery Life and ChargingBattery life is another strong point. The 70Wh battery can last through a typical workday with moderate use. Tasks like writing, browsing, and streaming do not drain it quickly. In lighter scenarios, the battery holds up well, making it suitable for working on the go. However, heavy tasks like gaming or video editing will drain it much faster.Charging is handled by a 65W USB-C charger. It is compact and easy to carry, but charging speeds are not the fastest. A short charging session will not give you a big boost, so it is better to charge it fully when possible.Final VerdictThe TECNO Megabook K16s 13th is a practical laptop that focuses on delivering strong performance at a competitive price. That Core i9 processor is a big highlight, especially for users who need a reliable machine for multitasking and daily productivity. Of course, there are trade-offs. The display is not designed for creative work, port speeds are limited, and thermals prevent the processor from reaching its full potential under heavy loads. Battery charging could also be faster.Still, for Php 46,999, the overall package makes sense. It offers solid performance, a premium-feeling build, and good battery life for everyday tasks. Students, office workers, and budget-conscious users will find a lot to like here.At the end of the day, this laptop delivers where it matters most. It handles daily workloads without fuss, and for many users, that is exactly what they need.TECNO Megabook K16s 13th Specs16-inch IPS display1920 x 1200 resolution16:10 aspect ratio60Hz refresh rateMatte anti-glare coatingIntel Core i9-13900H processor14 cores and 20 threadsIntel Iris Xe Graphics16GB DDR4 RAM512GB PCIe SSD storage70Wh battery capacity65W USB-C GaN fast chargerFull metal chassisSilver finish1.75 kg total weight17.5 mm thickness180-degree flat-lay hingeQuad speakers with DTS support2MP AI camera with privacy shutterFingerprint scanner in power buttonFull keyboard with number padRJ45 Ethernet portHDMI portUSB-C multi-function portUSB-A 10Gbps portsMicroSD card reader3.5mm audio jackWindows 11 HomeOneLeap ecosystem supportPhp 46,999 SRP
