The Edge detection is near flawless, and the bokeh is near natural-looking. It just lacks the natural and soft fall off from the in-focus to the out-of-focus areas.OPPO Reno15 5G's Selfie camera daylightWhen shooting selfies in landscape orientation, you can feel how wide the selfie camera's field of view is. It may not be the widest we've seen, but it certainly strikes a balance between a wide field of view and image quality. The Selfie is sharp and detailed with near-accurate color reproduction and with deep contrast.OPPO Reno15 5G's Selfie camera PortraitContinuing from the previous image, the daylight selfie retains the sharp, detailed, and vibrant color but with near-perfect edge detection. The bokeh is somewhat harsh, but it does the job of isolating the subject well.OPPO Reno15 5G's Selfie camera, daylight, and in Portrait mode in portrait orientationThe same can be said when shooting selfies in portrait orientation. The image quality is excellent, but the taller aspect ratio allows for more of the environment in the frame, not just in selfies but in videos for social media.Our thoughtsMy first few days using the OPPO Reno15 5G for photography have been fun. All of the cameras produce images that are great in quality, especially the main camera 1x, the 3.5x telephoto, and the selfie camera. The ultra-wide camera's photos could be sharper and more detailed, but it keeps up with the other cameras.Out of the box, our only concern is the inconsistent exposures between the zoom ranges in select lighting conditions.We have several sets of images of the same scene, but shot with a different focal length, and the exposures were obviously different. This may be due to the camera app's metering mode averaging the whole scene. I hope they give the option to select the metering mode in the settings in a software update. Otherwise, the cameras of the OPPO Reno15 5G are looking to be good while being versatile.Stay tuned for our full review soon.What do you guys think?
