Personal AI is becoming less about having another chatbot on a screen and more about making intelligence available wherever users happen to be working. At Lenovo Innovation World during IFA 2026 in Berlin, Lenovo & Motorola Qira took another step toward that vision by expanding across more devices, applications, services, and markets. First unveiled at Tech World earlier this year, Qira was designed as a personal AI that can work across compatible Lenovo and Motorola products. Lenovo began bringing that concept to market at MWC in March, when it announced the initial rollout of Lenovo Qira across more than 20 Lenovo devices. Since then, the company has expanded Qira to more than 80 supported PC configurations across its commercial and consumer portfolios, alongside select tablets and Motorola smartphones. The personal AI currently supports six languages, with more planned, while Lenovo intends to bring the experience to additional device families and form factors by the end of 2026. One Personal AI Across More Devices A key idea behind Lenovo & Motorola Qira is that users rarely spend an entire day working from just one device. Notes or ideas may begin on a tablet before moving to a PC, while notifications, messages, and meeting details can become scattered across different applications and screens. Qira aims to bring prioritized notification summaries and cross-device knowledge into a single interface. This can help users catch up on missed information, recall important details, and continue tasks with less need to jump repeatedly between applications and devices. Lenovo is now extending support to eligible PCs equipped with 16GB of memory, expanding availability beyond higher-memory configurations. The company is also continuing to optimize its local models to strengthen Qira's on-device AI capabilities. Eligible users can download Lenovo Qira from Lenovo's website, while the software is expected to come preloaded on supported Lenovo devices at a later date. Motorola Devices Join In The expansion will also reach eligible Motorola products as they receive the Android 17 upgrade. According to Lenovo, the rollout will happen gradually, with availability and timing depending on the particular device and market. The idea is to reduce the amount of manual searching users need to do when information is distributed across email, calendars, and collaboration platforms. Lenovo is also collaborating with Notion and expanding Qira's existing Perplexity integration. Users will be able to connect their Notion account with Qira, allowing them to retrieve information from projects and make edits without constantly switching between apps or devices. The expanded Perplexity integration, meanwhile, will enable deeper research experiences, including visual references for users' interests and goals.
