DxOMark recently published their camera lab tests for the new vivo X300 Ultra.Camera module of vivo X300 UltraAs expected, it has one of the highest camera ratings in the world, landing in the number 3 spot.One of the top 3 camera phones in the worldvivo X300 Ultra DxOMark camera breakdownThe device recorded a Photo score of 174 points and a Video score of 162 points for an average of 170 points—just behind the lower-end 171 of vivo X300 Pro and the 175 HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra last year.Yes, the X300 Pro scored 1 point higher than the X300 Ultra. Why? While the Photo score of vivo X300 Ultra is higher at 174 points versus 171, the Video score is lower at 162 vs 169.The testing lab further explained,On the video side, the performance is slightly less impressive than on the X300 Pro, particularly in challenging low-light conditions, where the device demonstrates limitations in dynamic range management and noise reduction as seen in the comparison shown.Regardless, DxOMark said that the vivo X300 Ultra delivers a standout performance in photo with a strong photographic look thanks to its 35mm focal length main camera.It also has top-tier zoom capabilities, excellent rendering with the ultra-wide camera module, and excellent Portrait performance with vivid colors and a high level of detail.To recap, the vivo X300 Ultra uses a 200MP f/1.85 Sony LYT-901 ZEISS w/ Gimbal OIS + 50MP f/2.0 JN1 ZEISS Ultra Wide-Angle Camera + 200MP f/2.67 Ultra-Sensing Sensor HP0 3.7x ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera + Adaptive Zoom Flash.
