realme P4 Power 5G Unboxing, First Look – Welcome to the over 10,000mAh era
It is confirmed that the realme P4 Series will officially launch in the Philippines on June 4, 2026. One of them is the P4 Power 5G.Meet realme P4 Power 5GWhat made this exciting? The realme P4 Power 5G is the very first smartphone in the Philippines to finally breach the over 10,000mAh battery capacity mark.Let's all have a look.Unboxing/AccessoriesUnboxedAs expected, the realme P4 Power 5G arrived in realme's signature yellow packaging.Inside is the phone itself with a pre-installed screen protector, a good-quality TPU clear case, paper documentation, SIM ejector tool, 80W power brick, and a Type-A to Type-C data/charging cable.Build Quality/DesignThe back designThe phone is made with a curved frosted glass-like material at the back with a rectangular camera hump, polycarbonate frame, and a 3D curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.Fair and solid buildThis also has an IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance for full protection against slashes, showers, and even full submersion. There is no mention of full drop resistance, since the display has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, its screen should be protected against accidental casual drops and light scratches. This even has Wet-Hand Touch Technology.I still recommend including the free case to guard against dents, scratches, and other damage. With the caseIn terms of design, the realme P4 Power 5G has a curved coil visible at the back. The entire back has a matte frosted finish to prevent fingerprint smudges. It is available in TransSilver and TransOrange colors. There is also a variant with the TransBlue colorway. The camera hump is not that thick or big.The displayIn front, I'm not the biggest fan of 3D curved panels. For me, flat displays are more functional and less prone to accidental side touches. But this 6.8-inch panel is still quite good. It uses AMOLED tech, can go really bright, and comes with slim and symmetrical bezels. The resolution is 2.8K crisp, and it is also extra smooth at 144Hz.It has a top-center punch-hole to house the selfie camera. The In-Display fingerprint sensor is found near the bottom part of the screen.Top, bottomAll ports and buttons are also found in familiar locations. The frame is generally machined well with no uncomfortable or sharp edges. Slim profile, over 10,000mAh batteryThe best part of its design? The phone is considered slim for a phone with a MASSIVE 10,001mAh battery.Unlike other thick phones with big batteries in the past, the realme P4 Power 5G with over 10,000mAh battery is slimIn particular, the phone is just 9.08mm thin. In comparison, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is just slightly slimmer at 8.75mm, even if its battery capacity is just half that of the realme P4 Power at around 4,823mAh or 5,088mAh.It is a little heavy at 219 grams. The displayAccording to realme, this can do 11.7 hours of straight gaming, 32.5 hours of video playback, and 24.5 hours of navigation.realme even claims that once the user reached 5% battery mark, the "Super Power Saving Mode" of the phone can make up to 218 minutes of calls. The 10,001mAh battery of the phone also has a TÜV Rheinland 5-Star Rating with temperature resistance, long-lasting battery health, and plenty of battery safety features. Its battery even has an MIL-STD 810H military-grade shock resistance.Plus, unlike most phones with only 4 years of battery health, the P4 Power has 8 years of healthy battery. To make this possible, realme said that they used their third‑generation silicon‑carbon anode material, combined with their most advanced internal stacking process.I haven't run a full battery test yet, but after three days without charging, it’s still at 38%. That’s impressive, considering I’ve only used it as a secondary phone for social media and occasional photos and videos.Daylight 2x, 1xIndoor 1x, UWLow light 1x, UWLow light 1x, UWThe realme P4 Power 5G is also equipped with a pretty good pair of back cameras capable of capturing decent snaps with crisp details up to 2x zoom. This is thanks to its 50MP f/1.8 shooter with AF and OIS.Our first few shots also showed that its 8MP f/2.2 112-degree shooter can also deliver with consistent color tuning and even exposure to some extent with its primary 50MP camera.Even for cityscapes and low-light snaps, both the primary and ultra-wide camera can deliver images with vibrant colors and minimal noise, particularly on non-moving subjects.I have yet to explore the full capabilities of its cameras, but the first few shots show some promise.Generally capable specsFor the rest of the specs, this phone is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra SOC—a chip known for being power-efficient. It also has 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, and runs on the AI-boosted Android 16 OS w/ realme UI 7.0 skin.As expected, it is smooth for casual and social media users so far. It might be great for some mobile players who don't play ultra-demanding games as well.realme P4 Power 5G SpecsDisplay: 6.8-inch Gorilla Glass 7i protected 3D curved AMOLED screen w/ 144Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 2800 x 1280 resolution at 453 ppiCPU: 2.6GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra octa-core processorGPU: Mali-G615 MC2 GPURAM: 12GB LPDDR4XROM: 256GB UFS 3.1Back Camera: 50MP f/1.8 w/ AF, OIS + 8MP f/2.2 112-degree ultra-wide-angle + LED flashSelfie Camera: 16MP f/2.4Battery: 10,001mAh w/ USB-C 80W Ultra ChargeOS: Android 16 w/ realme UI 7.0Connectivity: WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.4 (SBC, AAC, LDAC, aptX, aptX HD, LHDC 5.0), OTG, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS, dual SIMSensors: Proximity, light, color temperature, e-compass, accelerometer, gyroscopeOthers: In-Display fingerprint sensor, IP66/68/69 dust and water resistance, IR Blaster, stereo speaker, Colors: TransSilver, TransOrangeDimensions: 162.26 x 76.15 x 9.08 mmWeight: 219 gPrice: TBCAs of the momentThe realme P4 Power 5G immediately impresses with its massive 10,001mAh battery that appears to perform as good as advertised, packed into a surprisingly slim frame.Early use shows excellent endurance, smooth everyday performance, and a design that balances durability with sleek aesthetics. Even the primary camera is not bad, considering this is not marketed as a camera-centric device. So far, like a bold step forward for power‑hungry users who want longevity without sacrificing style.Obviously, our verdict will depend on the official local pricing of the phone.Watch out for our full review.
