Samsung has started rolling out the July 2026 security update to the Galaxy S26 series in South Korea. The update delivers urgent fixes for multiple vulnerabilities, making the S26 lineup the first to receive the patch this month. The July patch brings 57 security issues. Of these, 41 come from Google’s Android bulletin, and 16 are Samsung-specific. Five are rated critical, including memory errors that could allow malicious code injection. The rest are classified as high or moderate risks. The vulnerabilities mainly affect devices running Android 14, 15, and 16.
