Google’s Gemini continues to grow in Southeast Asia, with the app’s user base doubling in the region

At the Gemini Report: Southeast Asia 2026, Google announced that the Gemini app has doubled its user base in the region over the past year. The new report analyzes user trends across Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Based on the findings, what stands out (aside from the fact that SEA users have been quite receptive to the Gemini app in general) is the fact that the Philippines is a key area.
