Coupled with an internal architecture overhaul that reduces latency to just 82ns, the chipset is designed to eliminate processing bottlenecks in heavy multitasking and high-frame-rate gaming. Xiaomi has placed on-device artificial intelligence at the center of the XRING O3 design. vivo V80 Lite 5G now official with 7050mAh battery, Dimensity 7360-Turbo
vivo has officially launched the V80 Lite 5G, a new mid-range smartphone with a 7050mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, 6.83-inch 1.5K POLED display, and 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera. The phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and comes with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The vivo V80 Lite 5G uses a 4nm Dimensity 7360-Turbo platform with an octa-core CPU. It also supports 8GB of extended RAM, while the internal storage uses UFS 3.1. vivo claims the phone can maintain smooth performance for up to 50 months, with three generations of OS updates and five years of security patches.The phone packs a 6.83-inch 1.5K POLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 449ppi pixel density, and up to 2,000 nits of high-brightness mode. The display also carries SGS certifications for low blue light, low flicker, and sunlight readability. For photography enthusiasts, the V80 Lite 5G has a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera with a 2MP bokeh camera on the rear. It also has a 32MP front camera with a wide-angle lens. The phone supports 4K video recording on both the front and rear cameras, along with features such as AI Erase 2.0, Aura Light Portrait, Dual-View Video, and Live Photo.The 7050 mAh battery is one of the key hardware features of the V80 Lite 5G. It supports 44W FlashCharge, bypass charging, and a Battery Life Extender feature for emergency use. vivo says the battery can retain at least 80% of its capacity after 1,600 complete charge cycles under its laboratory testing conditions. The V80 Lite 5G also comes with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, plus five MIL-STD-810H certifications. vivo says the phone underwent drop tests from a height of one meter across seven smooth surfaces.For connectivity, the phone supports 5G, Wi-Fi on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.4, and dual nano-SIM cards. It uses a USB Type-C port and has an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. NFC and a 3.5mm headphone jack are not listed among its features.vivo lists the V80 Lite 5G in Silk White and Sapphire Blue. The handset arrived in a slimmer black and yellow box containing the handset itself, a pre-installed screen protector, a fast-charging-ready Type-A to Type-C cable, and paper documentation.The reason why the packaging is noticeably lighter is that POCO didn't include a charging brick.POCO probably thought that you already have a charger lying around at home.This is honestly such a bummer, as the phone supports up to 100W fast charging, and you will need to spend some cash just to experience its fast charging feature.Build Quality/DesignThe back designThe craftsmanship is top-notch and close to what users will see on the Xiaomi 17. My unit has a stunning metal and glass sandwich construction. True flagship build!The back panel is available in Black, White, and Aurora Green and features a fingerprint-smudge-resistant frosted finish with a velvety feel.Its upper portion is a large rectangular camera hump reminding us of the iPhone 17 Pro. This bump houses a triple camera configuration, LED flash, and the "Sound by Bose" branding.The displayIn front, it has a flat 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with near symmetrical bezels, which comes with 1.5mm top and side bezels and a 1.68mm bottom bezel. It also has a top-center punch-hole to house its selfie camera.This is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 7i, a toughened protective layer engineered to resist scratches, drops, and everyday wear while keeping the display clear.The frame is generally metal with a well-machined soft finish.Top, bottomVolume key, power keyThe phone carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. While it falls short of the newer IP69/IP69K standard, it remains a dependable level of protection—and far better than having none at all.On top, you'll see speaker holes. Below, you'll find the hole to access the SIM tray, a microphone, USB-C port, and the bottom speaker.The left part is almost clear (only the antenna lines are visible). On the right, there is the volume rocker and power key.At just 8.79 mm, the handset stays slim yet carries enough heft to feel premium—despite packing a hefty 6,330mAh battery.Generally, the phone is beautiful, neat, minimalist, and feels premium.The advertised speedAnTuTu score of POCO F9 ProThis phone has some of the smoothest displays on paper right now. I still have to intensively test it, but POCO claims that it has up to an 185Hz refresh rate. Aside from having a crisp 2510 x 1156 resolution, proper upper mid-range AMOLED colors, up to 10,000 nits peak brightness, and a smooth scrolling animation.Inside, this has a dual-chip combo. Surprisingly, good cameras!The ultra-wide remains at 8MP, and the selfie camera is up from 20MP to 32MP.2.5x zoom, 5x zoomSo far, shots using its primary camera have plenty of details with warm and rich colors. To my liking, colors are consistent across the ultra-wide, wide, and zoom lenses. POCO is set to launch the F9 Series in the Philippines, with the POCO Philippines Facebook account hinting at local pricing ahead of the global debut.
