nubia officially debuted the Neo 5 smartphone series in the Philippines on March 28. The technology company introduced the nubia Neo 5, Neo 5 Pro, and Neo 5 GT models during a public event at SM Megamall Fashion Hall. These new devices offer high-refresh-rate displays, large batteries, and hardware specific to mobile players. The top-tier nubia Neo 5 GT model utilizes a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor. The device provides up to 12GB of base RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Users view content on a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED display. This screen reaches a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.nubia equipped the new series with a built-in active fan and a large vapor chamber temperature panel. This internal system removes the need for external fan accessories. A 6,210mAh battery powers the Neo 5 GT. The phone supports 80W rapid power delivery and includes a charge separation feature to bypass the battery during extended player sessions. It arrives alongside the Nothing Phone (4a), but the Pro version focuses more on everyday upgrades with more capable hardware, especially in the camera and display.It still carries the same identity the brand is known for, but this version feels more dialed in. Instead of just standing out visually, it puts more focus on how the phone performs in everyday use.Design and buildThe Phone (4a) Pro keeps Nothing’s signature transparent design, but the layout looks more refined. The camera system and Glyph lighting are now arranged in a more unified panel, giving the back a cleaner look.It uses an aluminum unibody with flat sides, making it feel solid in the hand. At around 8mm thin, it stays comfortable to hold even with the larger footprint. You also get IP65 dust and water resistance, which adds some level of protection for everyday use.Glyph MatrixNothing continues to build on its Glyph system, now updated into a more advanced Glyph Matrix.
