Creative Imaging: AI Image to Video 2.0, AI-powered photo editing, and an advanced camera system led by a 200MP Ultra-Clear Night Camera allow users to create richer visual content with greater ease, while the HONOR 600 Pro further expands photography capabilities through its 50MP Periscope Telephoto Camera and AI Super Zoom. Complete Flagship Experience: Beyond AI, the HONOR 600 Series delivers long-lasting battery life, fast charging, premium durability, flagship-level processors, and improved cross-platform connectivity with Apple devices, making it a compelling smartphone lineup for creators, professionals, and everyday users alike. Artificial intelligence is quickly becoming one of the biggest reasons people upgrade their smartphones, and HONOR 600 Series is making sure more Filipinos can experience its latest capabilities. With the arrival of the HONOR 600 Series, the company introduces a new generation of smartphones that combines Google's newest AI experiences with HONOR's own intelligent technologies, bringing together productivity, creativity, flagship photography, and powerful everyday performance in one package. Officially introduced in the Philippines, the HONOR 600 Series reflects the company's continued commitment to making premium AI experiences available to a wider audience. Designed for creators, professionals, and digital-first users, the HONOR 600 and HONOR 600 Pro aim to make advanced AI feel practical instead of complicated. Google Gemini Powers Everyday Intelligence At the center of the HONOR 600 Series experience is Google Gemini, Google's next-generation AI assistant that allows users to interact naturally using text, voice, or images. Whether organizing travel plans, summarizing lengthy information, brainstorming ideas, composing emails, answering more complex questions, or simply managing everyday responsibilities, Gemini provides contextual assistance wherever users happen to be. The result is a smartphone that adapts more naturally to different situations throughout the day. To further expand the AI experience, every HONOR 600 Series purchase includes a three-month Google AI Pro trial. This gives users access to several of Google's premium AI services, including: Gemini Advanced Veo 3.1 for AI-powered video generation Nano Banana Pro for AI image creation Flow, Google's AI filmmaking tool NotebookLM for research and learning 5TB of cloud storage across Google services Together, HONOR and Google continue to push toward a shared goal of making advanced AI technologies more useful, intuitive, and accessible for everyday consumers. AI Creativity Gets Even More Powerful Alongside Google Gemini, HONOR introduces its own latest creative innovation through AI Image to Video 2.0. Powered by what HONOR describes as the industry's first unified multimodal video generation model, the feature allows users to transform up to three still photos into cinematic videos lasting between three and eight seconds using simple text prompts. Users can customize opening and ending scenes, apply cinematic templates, and generate videos directly from their smartphones with only a few taps. The experience is made even more convenient through a dedicated AI Button that offers quick access to creative tools directly within the Gallery application. Natural language editing is also supported through the AI Photos Agent. Instead of manually adjusting images, users simply describe the changes they want, allowing AI to perform the edits automatically. Additional features such as Moving Photo Eraser and Moving Photo Breakout Collage further expand creative possibilities by making visual storytelling more dynamic and immersive. HONOR says the popularity of its AI imaging ecosystem continues to grow, with previous generations already producing more than 13.4 million seconds of AI-generated video content worldwide. Flagship Photography Designed for Any Lighting Photography remains one of the strongest highlights of the HONOR 600 Series. Leading the system is a flagship-level 200MP Ultra-Clear Night Camera built around the next-generation HONOR AiMAGE intelligent imaging architecture. Equipped with the largest sensor in its segment, the camera is designed to capture brighter, sharper, and more detailed images even in challenging lighting conditions. HONOR also incorporates its E2E AI Remosaic technology to improve light sensitivity while maintaining impressive image clarity. The HONOR 600 Pro takes imaging even further with its 50MP 3.5X Periscope Telephoto Camera that supports up to 120x AI Super Zoom. Combined with HONOR's proprietary stabilization system, users can capture steadier photos and videos across different shooting situations. Other AI imaging features available across the series include AI Enhanced Night Photography, AI Enhanced Night Portrait, AI Super Zoom 2.0, AI Cloud Enhancement, and the AI Color Engine for more natural color reproduction. The HONOR 600 Pro also adds SuperMoon 2.0 for expanded long-distance photography. Bigger Battery for Longer Days Despite maintaining a slim and elegant design, the HONOR 600 Series houses the largest battery ever introduced in the Number Series. Its massive 7,000mAh Silicon-Carbon Battery is designed to deliver genuine two-day battery life for many users. Supporting this is the HONOR AI Battery Scheduling Engine, which intelligently manages power consumption depending on whether users are communicating, gaming, working, or enjoying entertainment. Charging capabilities remain equally competitive with support for: 80W HONOR SuperCharge 50W Wireless HONOR SuperCharge on the HONOR 600 Pro 27W Reverse Wired Charging The battery is also engineered for long-term reliability, maintaining excellent battery health even after 1,600 charging cycles. Premium Design with Reliable Durability The HONOR 600 Series combines refined aesthetics with durability for everyday use. Its unibody construction features a satin-finish metal frame, ultra-slim bezels, and finishes available in Orange, Golden White, and Black. Protection is equally impressive with IP68 Water Resistance, IP69 Water Resistance, IP69K Protection, and SGS 5-Star Premium Drop & Crush Certification, allowing users to confidently bring the device to work, while traveling, or during outdoor content creation. Flagship Performance and Better Connectivity Powering the HONOR 600 is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, while the HONOR 600 Pro steps up to the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for even higher gaming, multitasking, and AI performance. HONOR also continues improving its cross-platform experience through OneHop, making it easier for users to transfer files between HONOR smartphones, iPhones, and Macs. Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max vs. Pura 80 Ultra: What’s New in Huawei’s Latest Flagship?
Huawei has expanded its flagship smartphone lineup with the launch of the Huawei Pura 90s Pro and Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max in Malaysia. The new Pro Max builds on the foundation established by last year's Huawei Pura 80 Ultra, introducing updates to its camera hardware, battery, chipset, and display while maintaining Huawei's focus on mobile photography.Although both devices target photography enthusiasts and premium smartphone users, the Pura 90s Pro Max refines several key areas rather than taking a completely different approach.New 200MP Periscope CameraOne of the biggest changes on the Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max is its upgraded telephoto camera. The phone replaces the 50MP Ultra Lighting Macro Periscope found on the Pura 80 Ultra with a new 200MP Ultra Large Sensor periscope camera featuring 4x optical zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS). The higher-resolution sensor is designed to capture more detail when shooting distant subjects while providing additional flexibility for cropping.Huawei retains its 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR main camera, which uses a LOFIC sensor, variable f/1.4 to f/4.0 aperture, and OIS to adapt to different lighting conditions. Completing the rear camera setup are a 40MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus and a dedicated Color Spectrum Sensor for improved color accuracy.By comparison, the Pura 80 Ultra featured a 50MP 1-inch Ultra Lighting camera with a unique mechanical retractable lens, Sensor-Shift OIS, and a variable f/1.6 to f/4.0 aperture, paired with a 40MP ultra-wide camera, 50MP macro periscope telephoto camera, and a 1.5MP Ultra Chroma spectral sensor. For selfies, both devices are equipped with a 13MP ultra-wide front camera with autofocus.Bigger Battery, Same Fast ChargingBattery capacity is another area that has been upgraded. The Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max packs a 6,000mAh battery, compared to the 5,170mAh battery in the Pura 80 Ultra. The larger capacity is expected to provide longer usage for photography, video recording, gaming, and daily productivity.Charging speeds remain unchanged, with support for 100W Huawei SuperCharge and 80W Wireless SuperCharge. Both devices also support reverse charging, although Huawei specifies 18W reverse wired and 20W reverse wireless charging for the Pura 80 Ultra.Updated HardwarePowering the Pura 90s Pro Max is Huawei's latest Kirin 9030S processor, replacing the Kirin 9020 found in the Pura 80 Ultra. The newer model comes with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage, while the Pura 80 Ultra was launched in the Philippines with 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage, with a higher-capacity variant available in other markets.Software also differs between the two models. The global version of the Pura 90s Pro Max ships with EMUI 16, while the Pura 80 Ultra launched with EMUI 15.Larger Display and Durable BuildThe Pura 90s Pro Max features a 6.9-inch LTPO OLED display with a 2880 × 1308 resolution, adaptive 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and 1.07 billion colors. The Pura 80 Ultra, meanwhile, uses a slightly smaller 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with a 2848 × 1276 resolution and the same adaptive refresh rate. Both phones carry IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, making them resistant to dust, water immersion, and high-pressure water jets.Display protection differs slightly between the two devices. The Pura 80 Ultra uses 2nd-Generation Crystal Armor Kunlun Glass, while the Pura 90s Pro Max features Kunlun Glass with an anti-reflective coating.Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max vs. Huawei Pura 80 Ultra Feature Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max Huawei Pura 80 Ultra Display 6.9-inch LTPO OLED2880 × 13081-120Hz Adaptive Refresh Rate 6.8-inch LTPO OLED2848 × 12761-120Hz Adaptive Refresh Rate Processor Kirin 9030S Kirin 9020 RAM 12GB 16GB Storage 256GB / 512GB 512GB (up to 1TB in select markets) Main Camera 50MP Ultra Lighting HDRLOFIC SensorVariable f/1.4-f/4.0OIS 50MP 1-inch Ultra LightingMechanical Retractable LensVariable f/1.6-f/4.0Sensor-Shift OIS Telephoto Camera 200MP Periscope4x Optical ZoomOIS 50MP Macro Periscope3.5x Optical ZoomOIS Ultra-Wide Camera 40MP with Autofocus 40MP with Autofocus Color Sensor Color Spectrum Sensor 1.5MP Ultra Chroma Sensor Front Camera 13MP Ultra-Wide AF 13MP Ultra-Wide AF Battery 6,000mAh 5,170mAh Charging 100W Wired80W Wireless 100W Wired80W Wireless Display Protection Kunlun GlassAnti-reflective Coating 2nd-Gen Crystal Armor Kunlun Glass Durability IP68 / IP69 IP68 / IP69 Operating System EMUI 16 (Global)HarmonyOS 6 (China) EMUI 15 Weight 230.5g 226g Launch Price RM 4,899 (12GB + 512GB)Philippine pricing: TBA ₱89,999 (16GB + 512GB) Pricing and AvailabilityThe Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max is priced at RM 4,899 in Malaysia for the 12GB + 512GB configuration, which is roughly equivalent to ₱65,000 based on current exchange rates. Huawei has yet to announce official pricing and availability for the Philippine market. For reference, the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra (16GB + 512GB) launched in the Philippines with an official retail price of ₱89,999. Since the Pura 90s Pro Max has not yet been announced locally, it remains to be seen how Huawei will position the new flagship in the Philippine market.Final ThoughtsThe Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max builds on the foundation of the Pura 80 Ultra with upgrades that focus on zoom photography, battery life, and updated hardware. Its new 200MP periscope camera, 6,000mAh battery, and Kirin 9030S chipset are the most notable additions. However, the Pura 80 Ultra remains a strong flagship with its 1-inch retractable main camera, 16GB RAM, and 2nd-Generation Crystal Armor Kunlun Glass. Based on the published specifications, the Pura 90s Pro Max appears to be a refinement rather than a major leap. Whether it's worth upgrading will ultimately depend on real-world camera performance and battery endurance once the device becomes available.-Subscribe to our social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter, and YouTube. to receive the latest news and updates.
