Samsung’s Vision AI TVs Are Changing How People Game, Watch, and Work Out at Home

Televisions have come a long way from being simple screens for movies and TV shows. These days, they're often the center of gaming setups, fitness routines, sports viewing parties, and even smart home experiences.Samsung highlighted that shift during its recent Vision AI TV showcase at BSK in Mandaluyong, where the company demonstrated how its latest displays are designed to fit different lifestyles and interests. The event wasn't just about showing bigger screens or sharper pictures. Instead, Samsung focused on how AI-powered features and advanced display technologies can make everyday entertainment more engaging and personalized.TVs Designed Around Your InterestsDuring the event, Samsung showcased its newest Vision AI TV lineup and explained how today's consumers expect more from their televisions."Today's consumers expect their TVs to do more than simply display content," Samsung Head of VD Business Chris Almazan shared during the event. "They want experiences that adapt to their interests, simplify everyday tasks, and make entertainment more immersive. Vision AI was built to deliver exactly that."The company's Vision AI Companion aims to make televisions more intuitive by helping users access information, entertainment, and useful tools directly from the TV.Hands-On Activities Showcased Vision AI FeaturesRather than relying on traditional product presentations, Samsung created several activity zones where guests could experience the displays firsthand.Gaming and Sports on Samsung OLEDAt the "Shoot Your Shot" zone, guests participated in a one-on-one basketball shootout using the Samsung OLED Vision AI TV. The setup highlighted one of OLED's biggest strengths—deep contrast and vibrant colors. Fast-moving gameplay looked smooth and responsive, making it easy to see why many gamers continue to prefer OLED panels for competitive and action-packed games.Fitness Meets Smart ConnectivityThe "Break a Sweat" zone focused on fitness and connected living. Using a Samsung Neo QLED Vision AI TV paired with a Galaxy Watch through SmartThings, attendees experienced how workout tracking and guided fitness routines can be displayed directly on the big screen. For users who prefer to exercise at home, having workout data visible from across the room is a practical advantage over constantly checking a smartwatch or smartphone.A Better Way to Enjoy Movies and ShowsMovie fans gathered at the "Fill in the Blanks" challenge powered by Samsung's latest Mini LED Vision AI TV. Participants guessed famous movie and television quotes while experiencing the display's brightness, contrast, and detailed image quality. Scenes appeared vivid and sharp, particularly in brightly lit content where Mini LED technology tends to shine.Formula 1 Racing Comes to LifeOne of the busiest areas during the event was the "Race to Glory" challenge featuring the Samsung Odyssey OLED monitor. In partnership with Apex Racing Philippines, guests tested their driving skills through a racing simulator experience. The OLED panel's fast response times and impressive image quality helped create a more immersive racing environment, especially during high-speed corners and overtaking moments.Display Technology Beyond ResolutionSamsung also used the event to highlight some of its newest display innovations, including Micro RGB and Mini LED televisions. While screen size and resolution often grab attention, Samsung emphasized that image quality is also influenced by color accuracy, contrast, brightness, and detail.Building on its work with Real Quantum Dot Technology, the company showcased how its latest display technologies can produce more lifelike images with richer colors and improved depth. In real-world viewing, these improvements are often most noticeable in scenes with challenging lighting conditions, where accurate colors and better contrast help maintain image quality.More Than Just a Smart TVBeyond picture quality, Samsung's Vision AI platform is designed to turn televisions into everyday assistants. The company says Vision AI Companion can help users access information, entertainment recommendations, and useful content more naturally through the TV experience.Samsung also highlighted additional benefits for buyers, including access to Samsung TV Plus for free streaming content and up to seven years of operating system upgrades for supported Vision AI TVs.Samsung showcased its latest Vision AI TVs in the Philippines, highlighting smarter entertainment, gaming, fitness, and AI-powered viewing experiences.-Subscribe to our social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter, and YouTube. to receive the latest news and updates.
