Google introduces secure selfie sign-in option

Google has added a new selfie sign-in option to help users access their accounts when locked out or without their usual device. The feature uses short selfie videos to confirm identity, adding another layer of security to Google’s existing sign-in methods. To set up, users record a guided selfie video that captures multiple angles of their face. If sign-in issues occur later, Google will ask for another selfie video and compares it with the stored one.
