HUAWEI has officially unveiled its next-generation tri-fold flagship smartphone in China, the Huawei Mate XT 2 Ultimate Design. Wing-Fold Inward Architecture and Second-Generation Tiangong Hinge The HUAWEI Mate XT 2 introduces what Huawei terms the Wing-Fold tri-fold mechanism. Both outer wings now fold inward over the primary 10.2-inch foldable display, shielding the flexible panel completely from outside friction when closed. HUAWEI has also engineered the second-generation Tiangong hinge system featuring a gearless linkage structure with dual-rail synchronization.
