TCL P80 Ultra and P80 Pro debut with AMOLED NxtPaper display

TCL has announced the P80 Ultra, P80 Pro, and P80, a new smartphone series built around AMOLED displays and extended software support. The Ultra and Pro models feature TCL’s AMOLED-based NxtPaper tech, while the standard P80 offers a more affordable option without it. The P80 Ultra comes with a 6.83-inch AMOLED NxtPaper screen. It reduces blue light to 2.9 percent, uses circular polarization for better viewing with polarized glasses, and adds anti-glare Nano Crystal Shield Glass. The display reaches 3,200 nits of brightness, supports a 120Hz refresh rate, and covers the full DCI-P3 color space.
