Samsung is already working on Android 17 for several Galaxy devices, right after Google rolled it out to Pixel phones earlier this month. The first beta builds of One UI 9, based on Android 17, are now live for the Galaxy S26 series. The beta program started in May and will run for at least another month. Samsung is also lining up builds for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8, which are expected to launch in late July. Stable updates don’t have a set schedule yet.
